Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actress, activist for animals and a writer, who has won numerous prizes. Ali MacGraw is famous for movies such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. Her desire to be an artist was in part influenced by her upbringing in an New York family of artists. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant, before progressing to modeling and acting. Her two first films got noticed and earned her recognition with the Golden Globe Award of Most Promising newcomer. MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned the world to her, as well an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. She was named the best female box-office actress in the world after only three movies. The Grauman's Chinese Theater engraved her autograph, hand-prints and foot prints in the year 1972. Other credits include The Getaway Convoy Players, the miniseries on TV The Winds of War and many more. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was married to three individuals.
