Hayley Orrantia is an American actor, singer, and song writer. Most people recognise her as Erica Goldberg in the comedy television show 'The Goldbergs'. She is primarily an actor. At the age of 9 older, she started exploring music. When she was 12 she was taking music seriously enough to begin studying professionally. The singer-songwriter began writing songs at 13 and was only 14 when she released her debut album of covers songs. There hasn't been a turning back since. Orrantia is a native of America with Hispanic origins. Although she spoke only English throughout her childhood and not been to Mexico, Orrantia is extremely proud of her Hispanic background. To keep the tradition, she's studied Spanish and created songs that are in Spanish. A song she has created is called "Hasta Verte," a song she composed in Spanish. Orrantia was a contestant on The X Factor during its debut season in the summer of 2011. Orrantia auditioned, and was selected by a panel of YouTube videos and received four "yeses," from judges in Seattle during live audition phase. At first, she auditioned as a soloist, she along with three female singers were grouped together for the remaining auditions during "Hollywood Week". They were eventually eliminated at the end of the fifth show.
