Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco (born Angela Maria Ani DiFranco) is a American and Canadian musician and singer. She has more than twenty albums. DiFranco describes her music as folk-rock and alternative, but it also contains influences such as punk, hip-hop, and jazz. Ani Difranco has been deemed to be a feminist hero and a Grammy award winner. In the beginning, as one of the women's first artists of the 1990s, DiFranco founded her own label. DiFranco was born in Buffalo New York on September 23rd of 1970, her parents Elizabeth (Ross) and Dante Americo DiFranco The couple had been in contact while at an institution called the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
