Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American actress and writer most famous for her role as Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in 1960s. In the 1950s, she began her acting career on stage with Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. In the 1950s she performed as a stage performer in several Broadway productions before gaining into the spotlight with her hit song 'Lil' Abner's debut in 1957. The same year, She made her debut album of music It's Time to Tina. Louise first made it to Hollywood as Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre a 1957 drama film. This film became hugely popular and Louise got the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. She enrolled in Actors Studio, New York during this period and became Lee Strasberg's teacher. The year 1964 saw her signing to CBS and portrayed Ginger Grant. Louise maintained a successful career, balancing Broadway television and Hollywood and portraying somber, as opposed to her glamour-doll image received. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1, she played Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years she also became a well-known director for popular TV series like Supernatural and The 100. Her birth date was the 28th of August, 1965 in Essex. When she was 3, her family moved her to Toronto in Canada where she spent throughout her early years. After being chosen in 1997 to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living there since then.
