Sharni Vinson is an American-born Australian actor, dancer and actress born on the 22nd of July, 1983 in Sydney Australia. She made her debut in the year 2001. She played a lesser part on the show Home and Away. The casting agent wished to have her play one of the main characters. Although she did try out for the role, it wasn't chosen. The role was instead set on the show as Cassie Turner, a troubled girl who lives in foster care. Fans and critics were awed by her performance.
